On more than 30 km of developed course, specific equipment allows you to navigate the river between Acquigny and Criquebeuf-sur-Seine in complete safety: canoe passes, slipways, pontoons, signposting or even picnic tables for a stroll in complete freedom. Enjoy the enchanting calm of the Eure, which reveals its wild and luminous landscapes as it meanders.
The Eure is a river that is accessible to all, and canoeing down it provides great thrills but doesn’t require you to be a great sportsman.
Sailing discreetly in your canoe, it’s common to spot muskrats, coypu, herons, swans, wild geese, moorhens and ducks on the shady banks and lush green corners of the Eure.

Canoe and kayak hire companies along the river offer a range of 5km and 30km routes in the heart of nature, so you can go at your own pace. In Autheuil-Authouillet, Clef Vallée-d’Eure, Louviers and Val-de-Reuil, professionals are on hand to guide you, advise you and provide all the equipment you need for the trip: canoes or kayaks, paddles, lifejackets and waterproof canisters. They’ll take you back to the starting point by shuttle once you’ve completed the trip. You can take your children on board a canoe or kayak from the age of 5 in complete safety, and the whole family can set off on their own for a real moment of adventure and fun!
