Swimming in white water, commonly known as “Hydrospeed”, is a dynamic and ultra-fun outdoor sports activity that involves swimming down the river using the currents. Hydrospeed is practised in L’Eure with courses from Chambray to Pont de l’Arche via Acquigny, Louviers, Val-de-Reuil and Léry.
White water swimmingWearing a full neoprene wetsuit with impact protection, a helmet, a life jacket and flippers to propel you, you’ll be clinging to a foam sled that absorbs shocks and protects you from the river’s obstacles.
On the programme: a sporty ride, wave jumps in the rapids, stunning turns. Whitewater swimming is a bit like the thrill ride at an amusement park, but in the middle of the river. The jolts and speed provide a good dose of adrenaline and thrills you won’t soon forget.
