The Moulin d’Andé, an exceptional site dedicated to culture.
Dating back to the 12th century, the Moulin d’Andé is the last specimen of a “hanging mill” on the Seine to be listed as a historic monument.
Under the aegis of Suzanne Lipinska, the site became an artists’ residence and a venue dedicated to music and shows offering its guests an enchanting setting appreciated by the biggest names in cinema, literature and music, including François Truffaut, Maurice Pons and Georges Perec. The venue is now home to CECI, the Centre des Ecritures Cinématograpiques, and hosts over a hundred concerts and shows every year.
The park is open to visitors on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm.
A breathtaking view of the Seine and its meanders
A veritable green setting listed as a historic monument since 2008, the Moulin d’Andé park extends over 15 hectares from the banks of the Seine to the top of the hillside, offering beautiful views of the river and its meanders. A belvedere allows you to contemplate the landscape from above the treetops.
Protected decorative features
Designed at the very beginning of the 20th century, it features a fine collection of faux-wood cement features (rockery walls, kiosks, railings) of great finesse of execution, where it is sometimes difficult to discern the real from the fake.
