Zone humide des Pâtures

In Le Vaudreuil, near Louviers in Normandy, discover a wetland with important ecological wealth.
The Pâtures site offers visitors a nature walk in the heart of a 50-hectare wetland, including 10 hectares dedicated to the general public. It constitutes a real ecological wealth for the territory and for the man: protection of our drinking water resources, prevention of floods, development of the biodiversity, which one discovers while strolling on pontoons. The site has been extensively redesigned. 3,000 trees of local species - ash, willow, oak, birch, black poplar... - have been replanted. Two ponds have also been created, including an educational pond that allows the discovery of the species that inhabit the wetland... The development of an arm of the river restores the migration of fish, the transfer of sediments and allows the passage of canoes and kayaks. Observation points and information panels invite walkers to discover the richness of the fauna and flora of this educational trail.
