The Defends Wood

In Normandy, near Louviers, trees have many things to tell you and secrets to share.
A forest discovery park, the Bois du Défends is located at the limit of the state forest of Bord-Louviers. Three botanical paths have been set up there. With their identification markers, they invite you to meet more than 38 species of trees. Oak, wild cherry, ash, maple, hornbeam, locust, medlar, beech, Scots pine, redwood, red cedar... will no longer have any secrets for you. An outing to the kingdom of trees, ideal for families, to learn while walking. To further your discovery, an interpretation guide of the park's species is available free of charge at the Seine Eure Tourist Office in Louviers.
