This little known building, made of bricks and stones, entices visitors to follow a guided tour of the entrance hall and the grounds, which are planted with splendid tall trees. It allows visitors to understand the place's very old history, dating back to the Middle Ages, and the history of the chateau. Inside, an exhibition completes the visit with the story of the life and work of Pierre Le Pesant de Boisguilbert, a contemporary of Louis XIV and the father of modern liberal economy. Another exhibition presents the Norman pioneers who laid the foundation of global economic thought. As we travel back in time, we realise that great names are associated with the history of Pinterville such as Philip II Augustus who granted the fief to Renaud Tatin and Saint Louis IX who donated the manor house and the land to the nephew of the Archbishop of Rouen.
