The countryside is taking on its autumn colours and you’re already feeling the urge to get away from it all! Don’t panic, Seine-Eure in Normandy has everything you need for nature walks in environments as diverse as they are varied.

To each his own this autumn in Seine-Eure!

The circuit of the two lovers

How about a gentle start? OK, it’s only 5 short kilometres of Normandy, but to deserve an impressive view of the Seine, you’d still have to call on your calves… Don’t think too hard, you know it’ll do you good, so we’re heading gently towards the circuit des deux amants. This pretty hike of 2 hours will take you along the famous côte des Deux Amants, one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Seine in Normandy. The perfect place for a picnic and a little break (we speak from experience)!

I want the itinerary!

The Oison valley

To continue to (re)exercise your calves in Normandy, we also offer you 9 short kilometres in the sublime Oison valley, with its distinctly Norman identity. At Saint-Germain-de-Pasquier, the start of this loop, you’ll find the chapel and the Sainte Clothilde spring, reputed to cure all sorts of ailments. The chapel now houses the village hall, famous for being the smallest town hall in France! The surrounding area, with its half-timbered houses, valleys, horses and forests, is full of bucolic charm that will make your hike a true interlude of autumnal serenity.

I’m not afraid of these 9 Km!

Iton paths

Go to the Iton valley. Set off to discover a multi-faceted site, located on the banks of a waterway where the lapping of its various arms lets you discover the remains of mills, once very present, or its cotesaux offering you magnificent views of the Eure and Iton valleys. Wander through the forest where some unusual guests await you; whether of animal or plant origin like certain trees with extended branches.

I want more info!

With views over the Seine!

This is an unusual route, on a more confidential part of the Seine Valley: so take advantage of autumn to go promoting yourself on the Venables route and discover its little-known lake. You’ll walk along the hillsides, much of it by the water, and also through the countryside, enjoying its superb, typically Norman scenery. Be careful, 16 km on foot wears out your shoes.

I’ve got good shoes, let’s go!

The hillsides of Heudebouville

On the edge of the Seine valley, this village offers exceptional natural sites such as its hillsides. A village intimately linked to water, set off to discover the many ponds and springs located on the plateau but also its island known as “de Lormais”.
Place to culture, the built heritage of this village will surprise you with its “priory” on the edge of the Seine but also its splendid bread oven at the start of the hike.

I’m going!!

Beware!

Hikes in Seine-Eure are to be enjoyed without moderation, you can try them all without any problem.

And you, where will you walk in Seine-Eure?

But where is it?
