In the spring and throughout the summer, the medieval town of Pont-de-l’Arche invites tourists and residents alike, young and old, to make the most of the banks of the River Eure with a series of friendly events.

Reinventing

use of the banks of the River Eure

From this spring and throughout the summer, the medieval town ofPont-de-l’Arche in the Eure department in Normandy will once again come alive around the berges de l’Eure with many events organised by the town and its associations, with the help of the Agglo Seine-Eure, departmental services and the support of State services.

This majorsummer event is part of the town’s project to develop the banks of the Eure. A project designed to allow visitors to make the spaces their own, to hijack them, to explore them fornew uses.

That’s why Pont-de-l’Arche is looking forward to welcoming everyone: day-trippers, overnight tourists, neighbours and locals to come and take time and space on the banks of the Eure all together and enjoy the many entertainment times on offer in a friendly atmosphere!

A lively and festive summer!

Get ready for a warm, friendly and surprising summer in Pont-de-L’Arche! In a joyful, participatory spirit, the town’s riverbanks are being transformed into a veritable playground for adventure, discovery and encounters.
Every week, a variety of events will punctuate local life: shows, nature walks, intimate concerts, festive evenings, creative workshops, gourmet markets, sports initiations or even cycling escapades.

This major summer event, designed for all ages and all tastes, combines culture, heritage, leisure, ecology, sport and good humour. With a heritage to rediscover, lively alleyways, soothing banks of the Eure and a bustling market hall, it’s an entire region that’s on the move.

A summer on the banks as we like them: accessible, intergenerational, dynamic and deeply human.
