"Rendez-vous aux Jardins" at the Château de Gaillon

For the first time, Château de Gaillon is taking part in the “Rendez-vous aux Jardins”, from 2 to 4 June. Every year, this not-to-be-missed event in the field of nature and culture brings together many garden and history lovers.

opens the door to its gardens

This weekend, the Château de Gaillon will be offering a variety of events, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of its gardens. Guided tours will be organised throughout the weekend, offering a unique opportunity to discover the rich history and well-kept secrets of these enchanting grounds. Experienced guides will share their knowledge of the evolution of gardens through the ages and highlight the importance of preserving biodiversity. Finally, guided tours specially designed for children will be offered, allowing young explorers to discover the gardens of Château de Gaillon in a fun and interactive way.

In addition to the guided tours,musical and theatrical entertainment will enhance the visitor experience. Talented artists will perform in the gardens, creating an atmosphere conducive to discovery and wonder.

The programme

Friday 2 June

  • 11am, 2.30pm, 4pm: guided tour of the gardens
  • 8pm: theatrical performance of “Les Fourberies de Scapins”. Performed by students from the Académie Internationale des Arts du spectacle de Versailles

Saturday 3 June

  • 11:00 am: guided tour of the gardens
  • 2:00 pm: Renaissance dances by the Association pour la Renaissance du Château
  • 2:30 pm : Two-way tour of the gardens: historical and natural heritage by the château guides and the ADN association (Animation, Découverte, Nature)
  • 4.30pm: Two-way tour of the gardens: historical and natural heritage by the château guides and the ADN association

Sunday 4 June

  • 11am: guided tour of the gardens
  • 2pm: Theatre and music by the Rêves indociles company
  • 2.30pm: two-voice tour of the gardens: historical and natural heritage by the castle guides and the ADN association
  • 4pm: Theatre and music by the Rêves indociles company
  • 4.30pm: two-voice tour of the gardens: historical and natural heritage by the castle guides and the ADN association
