<10:30 Guided tour behind the scenes of the Archives Centre in Louviers

Dive into the heart of our history by going behind the scenes of the Seine-Eure Archives Centre, which holds almost 3.5 km of archives dating from the 14th century to the present day. The archivists will guide you through the shelves and explain their job as well as the methods they use to collect, classify and preserve documents from the surrounding communes and private collections. From parchment to CD-Rom, entrusting your archives to the Pôle means ensuring that they are preserved and passed on, and giving researchers and the public access to authentic documents.

<2:30pm Guided tour of the grounds of Château d'Acquigny

Classically inspired, it enjoys a privileged location between Eure and Iton, at the foot of hills once planted with vines. You will begin with a guided tour of the exterior of the Renaissance château and continue with a free stroll in the 15-hectare park, which is sure to surprise you!
