Unique in its kind, the Biotropica zoological greenhouse presents around a hundred species of animals that are as little-known as they are endangered, with respect for the animal world and the rules of sustainable development.
At the heart of the tropical forest, in an environment covered by more than 6,000 m² of lush vegetation, discover the wonders of a fascinating fauna and flora that are difficult to observe in the wild: from Mississippi alligators to France’s only Komodo dragon, not forgetting rare birds in brilliant colours, small monkeys, mammals, insects, rodents, bats, snakes and turtles of all kinds.

This striking image shows a red panda, a mammal known for its flamboyant red coat and adorable looks, enjoying a moment's rest on a tree branch. This specimen can be found in the protected setting of Biotropica zoo, an environment that simulates the temperate rainforest, the species' natural habitat.
