The route takes in sumptuous landscapes and lush countryside, with peaceful stops by the water: the old cloth-making town of Louviers with its museum, Notre-Dame church and Pénitents cloister, Val-de-Reuil with its walking trails, the Grande Noë bird sanctuary and Biotropica wildlife gardens, and the boating town of Poses with its dam, Seinoscope and Amfreville locks. In the fortified medieval town of Pont-de-l’Arche, don’t miss the church of Notre-Dame des Arts and Bonport Abbey.

On this route of almost 10km, always under the sign of water, follow the Seine bathed in the lights that so inspired the Impressionist painters. Enjoy exceptional natural sites with lovely panoramic views over the Seine valley, the meandering river and the surrounding hillsides.
At the crossroads of the 3 valleys of the Eure, Seine and Andelle, a stopover is a must at the Grande Noë bird sanctuary to observe almost 210 species of birds that find refuge there, including the largest continental colony of great cormorants in Normandy. Lac du Mesnil and Lac des Deux Amants are also prized for their enchanting charm and the plethora of sporting activities you can enjoy all year round.
