Located on an arm of the Seine between Paris and Rouen, the Moulin d’Andé is an exceptional venue dedicated to music and entertainment. Dating back to the end of the 12th century, this timber-framed mill with its pendulum wheel is a real treasure and a listed historic monument. With its original mechanism, it is in fact the last remaining example of a “hanging mill” on the Seine.
In this timeless little village in the heart of 15 hectares of parkland, the Moulin d’Andé and the former outbuildings offer a superb example of Norman architecture, combining cob and half-timbering.
The green setting, the authenticity of this ancestral heritage and the gentle atmosphere have made the Moulin d’Andé a popular place to stay and a source of inspiration for many artists, writers, film-makers, actors and musicians.
More than a hundred concerts and shows punctuate the Moulin d’Andé’s musical programme throughout the year. The variety of rising stars on the bill complements a fine selection of internationally renowned artists. This diverse programme offers audiences the chance to enjoy classical music from a variety of angles: symphony concerts, piano recitals, chamber music, classical and jazz concerts…
