Louviers has long been the beating heart of Normandy’s textile industry. Bordered by the River Eure, the town saw spinning mills flourish from the Middle Ages onwards, prospering until the 20th century.
It was against this rich and inspiring heritage that LA FILATURE was born, a hybrid coworking space conceived as a nod to this industrial memory.
Here, we no longer weave wool, but ideas, projects and human links – in a place that is resolutely forward-looking, while remaining rooted in its past.
