From 5 May 2025, Louviers Tourist Office will be moving to its new premises at Porte de l’O!

Moving house

to welcome you better

From 5 May 2025, the Louviers Tourist Office will be moving to a new address, welcoming you to its new premises at the Porte de l’O, which will also house the Maison du Vélo as well as the SEMO agency, the transport and mobility services of the Seine-Eure conurbation. This new location marks a turning point in the way we welcome visitors, both locals and tourists curious to discover the treasures of the Seine-Eure area.

Installed for many years in the red half-timbered house known as “du fou du roy” in the town centre, the historic home of Guillaume Marchand, a master apothecary who became “King Henry IV’s jester”, the Tourist Office team is moving to a new era and now occupies a modern, bright and functional space, more easily accessible, right at the heart of the soft mobility flows.

A more comfortable, connected and inspiring space

La Maison du Vélo is much more than just a reception point: it is a place for living, services and sharing. This new setting will enable the team to offer an enhanced visitor experience, with:

  • a brighter, warmer space,
  • improved accessibility for all audiences,
  • greater visibility for brochures, ideas for outings, tours and good tips,
  • facilitated exchanges with the other services on site (bike hire, SEMO network, workshops, events.).

This modern environment allows us to better promote the region’s tourism offering while meeting the expectations of a public in search of meaning, nature and gentle itineraries.

A place in line with the values of sustainable tourism

By joining Porte de l’O, the Tourist Office is fully in line with the Seine-Eure Agglomeration’s strategy in favourof sustainable mobilityandeco-tourism. This new place brings together innovative services around cycling (long-term hire, cargo bikes, folding bikes, repair workshops, getting back in the saddle…) and encourages visitors to discover the area in a different way: by bike, on foot, by public transport or by carpooling.

With cycle routes such as the Seine à Vélo, the Eure greenway or nature walks and hikes along the water’s edge, in the forest, on the hillsides or around large lakes, the Seine-Eure destination is becoming an ideal playground for more responsible tourism, in tune with environmental issues and the new expectations of travellers.
