Let yourself be guided around this pioneering French Renaissance château, built a few years before the châteaux of the Loire. Overlooking the town of Gaillon and the Seine valley, it was built on the site of the medieval castle by Cardinal Georges d’Amboise. Transformed into a penitentiary and then barracks, the French state bought it in 1975 and undertook extensive work to restore it to its former splendour.

Meet Christophe and Hervé LE BER in their former fortified farmhouse, typical of the region. They will show you how foie gras and other goose and duck dishes are made. Apple products are transformed into cider, apple juice, spirits, jellies and jams. The tour ends with a tasting of the products produced on site. The tour ends around 4.00 pm.
