10:00 Guided tour of the Château de Gaillon entrance pavilion and exterior

This château, overlooking the town and a pioneer of the French Renaissance, was built a few
years before the châteaux of the Loire by the will of Cardinal Georges d’Amboise. It was transformed into a penitentiary and barracks before being bought by the French government in 1975, who undertook extensive work to restore it to its former splendour.

This castle overlooks the town and is a pioneering example of French Renaissance architecture.

12:00 Lunch in a traditional restaurant

Menu suggestions: Kir / Mussel puff pastry / Guinea fowl leg with mushrooms and market vegetables / Strawberry and vanilla entremet / Wine, water and coffee.

<2:30pm Guided tour of the Château d'Acquigny Park

Classically inspired, the Château d’Acquigny enjoys a privileged location between Eure and Iton, at the foot of hills once planted with vines. You’ll start with a guided tour of the exterior of the Renaissance château and continue with a leisurely stroll through the 15-hectare park, which is sure to surprise you!

4:30pm Guided tour and tasting at Ferme des Noës in Saint-Aubin-sur-Gaillon

Meet Christophe and Hervé LE BER in their former fortified farmhouse, typical
of the region. They will show you how foie gras and other goose and duck dishes are made. Apple products are transformed into cider, apple juice, spirits, jellies and jams. The tour will end with a snack
