Fishing at Léry-Poses
On the 25 hectares of the 3 ponds in the Léry-Poses leisure park, fishing is open all year round. The lakes boast an astonishing diversity of fish: bleak, eel, pike, tench, common bream, rotengle, perch, pike-perch, roach, common carp, gudgeon, hotu, sun perch, sheatfish, glane.
You can fish for pike during the periods when pike fishing is open, but no thermal gear is allowed on the Lac des 2 Amants/Mesnil and the rowing pond. The use of float tube type boats is authorised, and electric boats for hire are available on a daily basis.
Carnassial fishing (pike, zander) is prohibited from the last Sunday in January until the first Sunday in May. Night fishing for eels is prohibited, while night fishing for carp is only permitted on the Seine from the Poses dam.
On the Lac des Deux Amants, a family trail has been awarded a label. A path, accessible to people with reduced mobility, leads to a 30-metre stretch where a wooden barrier allows fishing from the lake bank in complete safety. This fishing spot is well equipped: a car park, a pathway, fishing stations and sanitary facilities.
A slipway is available for carnivore fishing from boats (in rowing boats or float tubes).
Fishing at Roger’s Lake
80 km from Paris, in the Eure valley, at Fontaine Heudebourg between Louviers and Evreux – Clef Vallée de Seine, Roger’s Lake is an idyllic fishing site. The 5 ponds offer “no kill” carp fishing by day and night. Extend your fishing pleasure by staying on site around the ponds in chalets and mobile homes.
Fishing accessible to all
Leisure fishing is accessible to people with reduced mobility in Seine-Eure. A slipway and a secure line have been created at the Parc des Aulnes in Le Vaudreuil, as well as a Handipêche station at Place de la République in Poses.
