An area ideal for fishing

Located halfway between Rouen and Paris, the Seine-Eure region offers a diversity of aquatic landscapes that will delight beginners and experienced anglers alike. With more than 80km of rivers and 560 hectares of ponds and lakes, the possibilities are endless: river fishing, stillwater fishing or float-tube fishing, there’s something for everyone.

The wild arms of the Seine and Eure are lined with vegetation, offering secret spots conducive to environmentally-friendly fishing. Bodies of water such as those at Acquigny, Léry-Poses and Roger’s Lake are also must-see spots for a relaxing day with rod in hand.

Fishing in the Eure

A 2nd category fish river, the Eure alternates between slow and deep areas, perfect for fishing for barbel, chub, carp or pike. Float-tube enthusiasts will love the passion course between Louviers and Incarville.

Fishing the Seine

The Seine is ideal for carnivore fishing (zander, catfish, pike) and cyprinid fishing. Take advantage of the slipways at Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray, Le Manoir-sur-Seine and Andé for your boat trips.

Fishing at Léry-Poses

On 25 hectares of lakes open all year round, discover an amazing diversity of fish: bleak, eel, tench, pike-perch… The Lac des Deux Amants offers a family course accessible to PRMs.

Fishing in the Iton

Enthusiasts can also fish in the Iton, classified as a 1st category river from the place known as la Ferme de Villalet in Villalet to its confluence with the Eure at Acquigny. It is mainly home to salmon species (trout, common grayling, etc.)

Fishing at Roger’s Lake

Located in Fontaine Heudebourg, this idyllic site is home to 5 ponds where “no kill” carp fishing is king. Extend the pleasure by staying on site in chalets or mobile homes.

A family holiday

at the Léry-Poses park

If the Léry-Poses leisure park in Normandy has established itself as a must-see fishing spot in the Seine-Eure, it’s also the ideal place for a break with family or friends!

Imagine, just 1 hour from Paris, 1,300 hectares, including 650 in water for 3 lakes, dedicated to outdoor leisure activities and a recognised fishing site.

The lakes are teeming with fish: Ablette, Eel, Pike, Tench, Common bream, Rotengle, Perch, Pike-perch, Roach, Common carp, Gudgeon, Hotu, Sun perch, Wels catfish…. Carnivore fishing (pike, zander) is open from January 1 to the last Sunday in January, then from the last Saturday in April to December 31.

Before or after your fishing trip, or for a break with the kids, the Lac des Deux Amants is the perfect place to relax: supervised beaches, launching zones, petanque courts, volleyball courts, children’s play areas…, canoe-kayak, pedalo and electric bike hire, water ski lift, miniature golf, inflatable structure courses on water or land, aquaslide, accrobranche…

An ideal fishing break for families or groups, especially as the site has plenty of approved accommodation: chalets, cottages, camping, caravans or fishing gites with two cabins installed at the foot of your chalet, containing a fridge, a livewell and allowing storage of all your equipment (fishing rod, float tube…)…).
