The town invites you to enjoy a summer of 100% relaxation, culture and sharing, with a rich programme combining music, sport, creative workshops, neighbourhood events and family fun. Festive events

for young and old

All summer long, there’s something for everyonein Louviers! Whether you’re a fan of live music, interested inart and heritage, or looking forsomething to do with your children, there’s something for everyone.

BastilleDay (13 July): Don’t miss the “So Groovy” fireworks display at the Annette Sergent stadium at 10.30pm, followed by the popular dance with DJ Will Tyler on the Place de la Halle aux Drapiers.
Fridays on the Terrace: From 27 June to 29 August, enjoy your summer evenings over a drink with live concerts in the town centre’s cafés and restaurants (Soul, 80s, DJ sets… something for everyone!).
Quartiers d’été: Creative workshops, shows, concerts, barbecues and civic events… every week, the different districts of Louviers come alive with festive and intergenerational activities open to all.

Culture and creativity

Summer in Louviers is also an opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the wealth of local culture through exhibitions, workshops and shows.

The Musée de Louviers is honouring collector Constant Roussel with a brand new exhibition, and is offering a host of workshops for children, guided tours and off-site events, including at Louviers plage.
The Médiathèque is coming alive with fun, offbeat writing workshops: from literary funfairs (La Dynamot) to poetic portraits (Portraits crachés), let your imagination run wild!
Live entertainment: From rap to slam, circus to acrobatics, a number of local and guest companies are taking over public spaces for surprising, accessible and festive performances.

Louviers Plage: your summer oasis

in the heart of the city

Looking for some fresh air and relaxation? Head to Louviers Plage at Villa Calderón from 16 July to 10 August! A temporary space for young and old, with a whole host of activities from 2pm to 7pm every day.

Sports activities and creative workshops: volleyball, baseball, boxing, arts and crafts, wooden games, drawing competitions, nature education…
Readings and children’s shows: curious little ones can listen to stories, take part in museum workshops or make their own instruments for a concert with their feet in the water!
Shared moments: barbecues, convivial meals and open-air shows are all part of the programme, in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
